Description
Српски / srpski: Споменик је подигнут 1932. године, прилозима грађана. На челу Одбора за подизање споменика био је пуковник Константин Костић Коча. Аутор споменика је био угледни вајар Петар Палавичини. Коњаничка скулптура на високом постољу била је у композицији са три рељефа: симболичка представа младе жене у виду фигуре са маслиновом гранчицом, представљала је Југославију, и била је на западној страни, на прочељу. Краљ Петар I са четири српска војника учесника Балканских ратова и Првог светског рата био је на северној страни. Српска војска са добровољцима из Баната осликана је на рељефу на јужној страни. Запис о томе ко је и када подигао споменик стајао је на источној страни. Срушили су га немачки окупатори 1941. године.
