Description
English: Statue of a youth wearing a himation. Pentelic marble. Found in the Gymnasium at Eretria, Euboea. According to the inscription on the base, the statue depicts Cleonicus son of Lysander, and was erected by his brother Amphicrates. Early 1st cent. B.C. Accession number: 244. National Archaeological Museum of Athens. Athens, Greece. Source: Museum inscription.
