Two people kissing on a bed underneath a blanket. A dog is lying at the other end of the bed.

Terra-cotta statuette.

Artist: Pistillus Signed: PISTILLVS FECIT (Pistillus has made)

Found at Gironde, Bordeaux.

A seemingly identical replica found in 1865 at the site of a Roman villa at Montceau-Les-Mines has disappeared.[1]

Date:Late 2nd - early 3rd century CE
