Description
English: Stele of a king Dedumose, mentioning two king's sons (not necessairly the sons of a pharaoh): a "Horsekher" and a "Sebekhotep, born of ...senb".
Limestone originally red in color (54 x 33,5 cm) found by Reginald Engelbach in 1921 at Tell Edfu, and datable to the Second Intermediate Period. No. 46998. [ref: Engelbach, ASAE 21, pp. 189-90]. According to Dodson & Hilton (The Complete Royal Families of Ancient Egypt, 2004, p. 117.) this stele belongs to king Dedumose I of the 13th or 16th dynasty.
