Summary

[edit]
Description

3rd rail territory. looking through the portal of the main SECR line from Victoria, the Stewarts Lane electrified approach roads are seen in this photograph. The bridge in the distance is that of the main LSWR line to Waterloo. To the right is Stewarts Lane Signal Box, and just visible in the centre left, the dead end shunt can be seen. In the shed yard the electrified lines were separated from the steam shed lines by a fence which ran from this portal of the overbridge.
