Summary
[edit]DescriptionStill AME ?.jpg |
English: Amber Mews is an alleyway off Brampton Park Road, Wood Green, Haringey London N22.
I first took a photo and reported this broken street nameplate on 31 December 2015. Despite reporting it again from time to time, it has not been replaced. On 9 July 2017 it had one remaining piece which looks like "Ame", and seemed about to fall off. Reported again to Haringey Council using the free website Fix My Street. (In my view this is better than Haringey Council's own online reporting facility.) ________________________________ § The Big Green Bookshop - shown in the photo - is the only dedicated bookshop in Wood Green. I went there to collect a recently published paperback by Anna Minton which Tim and Simon ordered for me and Zena. § Big Capital - Who is London For? is about London's Housing Crisis. § Review of the book by Rowan Moore, architecture critic of The Observer. § Read about Tim West and Simon Key who opened The Big Green Bookshop in March 2008. |
