Description
English: The "stumbling blocks" of the Cologne artist Gunter Demnig are reminiscent of men, women and children who were victims of the National Socialist tyranny. In front of their last freely chosen place of residence, brass plates in the sidewalk indicate the name, the year of birth, the place of death and the date of death of the respective person.
Deutsch: Die „Stolpersteine“ des Kölner Künstlers Gunter Demnig erinnern an Männer, Frauen und Kinder, die Opfer der nationalsozialistischen Gewaltherrschaft wurden. Vor ihrem letzten frei gewählten Wohnort nennen Messingtafeln im Gehsteig den Namen, den Geburtsjahrgang, den Todesort und das Todesdatum der jeweiligen Person.
