Description
Italiano: In primo piano appare un sottile strato di nubi non uniforme. La bassa altitudine e il colore grigio non lasciano dubbi sul genere e sulla specie: si tratta di Stratocumulus stratiformis. La leggera forma a bande ondeggiate permette di applicargli la varietà undulatus. Più in basso, davanti a un gruppo di Cumulus congestus in lontananza (di colore bianco/giallo) si stagliano altri Stratocumuli ma della specie lenticularis per via della forma particolare, che ricorda una lente o una mandorla. Uno di essi (al centro) è composto da più strati sovrapposti e parzialmente uniti tra loro, per cui ad esso si applica la varietà duplicatus.
