On the photo in the midst: forested hill "Barchanec" (624 m above sea level, seen from the southeast is not significant). Top easily accessible from the village of Venice (in czech: Benátky). The natural habitat lies in the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area. The houses on the left belongs to the village of Chlum (part of town Hlinsko). Photo location: Czechia, border between regions Vysočina Region and Pardubice Region, also border between of small town Krucemburk and hamlet "Chlum u Hlinska" (part of town Hlinsko).

Stružinecká pahorkatina je krajinná oblast a geomorfologický okrsek (horopisná jednotka) v regionálním členění reliéfu krajiny (georeliéfu) České republiky. Nachází se v jihovýchodní okrajové části Sečské vrchoviny v pohoří Železných hor. Členitá pahorkatina s plochým povrchem holoroviny byla utvářena zejména vyvřelinami nasavrckého a ranského plutonu. Nejvyšších nadmořských výšek nad 600 m dosahuje Stružinecká pahorkatina na jihovýchodě. Mezi nejvyšší vrcholy patří s široce rozložitou a zalesněnou vrcholovou částí Barchanec (624,0 m) nad Stružincem a Křížový vrch (661 m) nad Krucemburkem. Administrativní hranice mezi Krajem Vysočina a Pardubickým krajem probíhá zhruba v pohledové vertikální ose středem fotografického snímku. Foto z červeně značené turistické trasy Klubu českých turistů s názvem Cesta Karla Havlíčka Borovského, úsek Chlum – Krucemburk (cca 630 m n. m.), pod výškovým trigonometrickým bodem „V končinách“ (639,09 m n.m.), počasí – mírná mlha.
