Description
English: NYPD Emergency Service Unit officers on the platform of the Lexington Avenue / 51st – 53rd Streets after a subway suicide. This photograph was quite by chance as I had just purchased a lens (Sigma 50mm f/1.4) to go with my full frame body in the same neighborhood and was about to take the E train home, but the platform already was filled with emergency personnel.

I was planning to take the E train home, but emergency personnel were already present because the platform was the scene of a completed suicide.
