This is a cropped portion of w:John Trumbull’s portrait of the w:Surrender of General Burgoyne at Saratoga, which depicts the surrender of the British general to leaders of the Continental Army.

Left-to-right are Colonel w:William Prescott, Colonel w:Daniel Morgan, General w:Rufus Putnam, Lieutenant Colonel John Brooks, and Reverend Enos Hitchcock.
