Description
English: The Suwaidi pearl farm is located in the lagoon of Al Rams, a fishing village in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The farm explains the history of the pearling industry, which was a very important source of income in the region before the introduction of cultured pearls. Suwaidi Pearls cultures the Pinctada Radiata species, Gulf pearl oyster, and you can see the pearls up close.
