Svenska: Frimärke 20 öre 1872, från Postmuseums samlingar. Användes ursprungligen främst på postanvisningar tillsammans med 5-öresmärket. Från och med den 1 augusti 1875 trädde Världspostföreningens regler om enhetliga och lägre utlandsporton i kraft. Då kom tjugoöresvalören att utgöra porto för brev till de flesta utomnordiska adressländerna. En sen tryckupplaga framställdes med ömtålig färg som snabbt bleknade bort. Dessa märken återkallades från postanstalterna genom ett cirkulär den 9 oktober 1876. Den tidigaste kända avstämplingen är den 5 juli 1872. Upplaga: 2 804 600, 20 öre. Märkena framställdes utan vattenmärke (endast i arkmarginalerna). Ogiltiga till frankering fr. o. m. den 30 december 1910. |
