| Description |
English: Sybille Canyon in the Laramie Range of Wyoming has extensive roadcuts and roadside exposures of anorthosite, an uncommon intrusive igneous rock composed principally of sodic to calcic plagioclase feldspar, usually with minor pyroxene. Anorthosite is not common on Earth, but is abundant on the Moon. Wyoming's transportation department wrecked/ruined/destroyed many of the roadcuts several years ago.
