English: Early coat of arms of the Székelys, based on the stonemasonry of Dârjiu Church, ca. 1495. Design elements and colors based on the paintings of Daia; according to heraldist Attila István Szekeres, all early designs of the coat of arms were displayed on gules, rather than the azure field that was later selected as a Székely color.
