English: The River Têt in the commune of Canet-en-Roussillon, France (about one kilometre north of the village centre), with a small cliff in alluvium that has been laid down by the river during the Holocene epoch. Alluvium of this kind - unweathered, mostly fine-grained, and of a geologically very recent date, covers a considerable area in eastern sections of the Roussillon Plain. See Calvet, Marc et al., 2022, above.
