Description
Nederlands: In de zomer krioelt het van de bootjes rond het eiland Neeltje Jans bij de Oosterschelde in Zeeland. Pleziervaart, in eerste instantie, maar sommige vaartuigen vervoeren minder legale zaken. En aangezien de kust van Zeeland een landsgrens is, controleren we hier geregeld op in- en uitgaand verkeer.

De zee is op deze tropische junidag spiegelglad, en samen met de geur van zonnebrand lijkt de werkdag van de marechaussees van Brigade Scheldestromen meer op vakantie. Maar de omstandigheden zijn niet altijd perfect, en ook dan wordt er gepatrouilleerd tijdens TIPP-acties (Toetsen Informatie Positie Pleziervaart). Meestal samen met politie en Douane, zodat de gecombineerde opsporingsbevoegdheden kunnen worden ingezet.
