Description
English: Comparison of the rate of protein sequence evolution of TMEM101, Cytochrome c, and Fibrinogen alpha. The corrected number of amino acids changes (m) was calculated using the equation m = -ln(1-n / 100) * 100, where n is the observed number of amino acid changes per 100 residues. The slope of each line represents the average number of amino acid changes per 1 million years. Species that were used for this analysis (in order of least to most divergent) include: Homo sapiens, Macaca Fascicularis, Mus musculus, Monodelphis domestica, Ornithorhynchus anatinus, Gallus gallus, Xenopus tropicalis, Danio rerio, Branchiostoma floridae, Trichoplax adhaerens, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
