Description
Français : Classées comme monument le 2 août 1991 : Maisons des 20 et 22 rue des Récollets à Tournai (façades et toitures).

Ces deux maisons, dont de nombreux percements sont murés, ont été construites au tournant des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. L’ensemble est caractérisé par un rez-de-chaussée complétement appareillé (de style louisquatorzien) et un étage alternant la pierre et la brique (de type tournaisien). L’horizontalité est soulignée par la présence de cordons ou bandeaux courant sur toute la largeur de la façade. Une corniche à modillons de bois précédée d’un petit encorbellement de briques supporte une toiture en bâtière de tuiles percée d’une lucarne à croupe.
