Description
Français : Élément classé 15/09/1936 : Maison de fondations, 47 rue de Marvis à Tournai.

Cette maison fait partie d'un ensemble architectural de Tournai remontant à la seconde moitié du XVIIe siècle. Typique du style tournaisien (mêlant pierre et briques), ces constructions alignent dix-huit travées alternant trois volumes trapus et trois annexes sans étage. 

cette maison se compose de deux travées de deux niveaux et d’une annexe basse, toutes deux sur un soubassement appareillé. La plus haute partie de la façade est percée de baies à châssis à petits-bois (dont une murée) surmontées d'un bandeau peu saillant faisant pendant à celui qui relie les seuils des fenêtres de l’étage. La toiture à croupe frontale, recouverte de tuiles plates, est supportée par d'élégants corbeaux de bois. Elle est percée de lucarnes à croupe et ailerons ornés de volutes. La partie basse présente une porte à linteau droit et une baie à châssis à petits-bois sous une toiture en bâtière.
