La maison d’angle et celles donnant dans la rue de l'hôpital Notre Dame possèdent deux niveaux, de quatre travées côté quai Notre Dame et quinze travées dont une aveugle du côté de la rue de l'Hôpital Notre Dame, le tout sur un soubassement appareillé, percés de baies à bossages. L'ensemble de l'édifice est recouvert d'une toiture en bâtière de tuiles ouverte de quatre lucarnes à croupe en capuchon, dotée pour trois d'entres elles d'ailerons en bois. Ces maisons comme celles des alentours furentconstruites entre 1680 et 1685, lors de la rectification des quais par Louis XIV. Adoptant le style louisquartorzien, elles se caractérisent par une alternance entre la pierre (au niveau des encadrements des percements et des bandeaux) et la brique (pour les allèges, trumeaux et entablements) ainsi que par leur côté très géométrique. L’horizontalité y est soulignée par des bandeaux qui courent sur toute la façade et prolongent les linteaux des baies. Het hoekwoning en die in de rue de l'hôpital Notre Dame hebben twee verdiepingen, vier traveeën aan de kadezijde en vijftien traveeën aan de straatzijde van Hôpital Notre Dame; allemaal op een ingerichte basis, doorboord met bazenbaaien. Het hele gebouw is bedekt met een open pannendak met vier dakkapellen met houten vinnen voor drie van hen. Dit deel van de stad heeft een opeenvolging van huizen gebouwd tussen 1680 en 1685, tijdens de rectificatie van de kades door Lodewijk XIV. Ze worden gekenmerkt door een afwisseling van steen (op het niveau van de kaders van de openingen en de banden) en baksteen (voor de dorpels, overmantels en entablatuur) en door hun geometrisch aspect. De horizontaliteit wordt onderstreept door banden die langs de hele gevel lopen en de lateien van de ramen verlengen. The corner house and those on rue de l'hôpital Notre Dame have two levels, four bays on the quay side and fifteen bays, one of which is blind on the rue de l'Hôpital Notre Dame side; all on a fitted base, pierced with rusticated bays. The entire building is covered by an open tiled roof with four hooded hipped dormers with wooden fins for three of them. This part of the city has a succession of houses built between 1680 and 1685, during the rectification of the quays by Louis XIV. Adopting the Louisquartorzian style, they are characterized by an alternation between stone (at the level of the frames of the openings and the bands) and brick (for the sills, overmantels and entablatures) as well as by their very geometric aspect. The horizontality is underlined by bands that run along the entire façade and extend the lintels of the windows. The verticality is accentuated over the entire height of the façade by the pedestals[or jambs] of the windows.
