Fort Anne National Historic Site, Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. Still more artifacts. The years during which the British held Fort Anne were no less war-torn than the French period, at least until the Fall of Québec in 1759 put a final end to France's colonial aspirations in North America. Frankly, these musket balls, buckshot, etc. could be from any time in the first half of the 18th Century, but if memory serves me, I believe the exhibit specified that they dated back to the Siege of Port Royal in 1710.
