Marble Mountain, Steady Brook, Newfoundland. A view of the ski lodge - and, in the background, the Humber River - from a little ways up Mount Musgrave. I think this is about where I realized that it was futile to try to sandwich the hike into a 30-minute timeframe and turned back to the car for a nap. The ski lift at right is called the "Newfie Bullet", and is the oldest one at Marble Mountain, built in 1986. The resort also has the only high-speed detachable quad lift in the Atlantic Provinces, the "Governor's Express". Marble Mountain, Steady Brook, Terre-Neuve.
