Description

Newfoundland Insectarium, Deer Lake, Newfoundland. The gift shop. As you can see, most of the merchandise has a butterfly theme. It's easy to imagine why: the Newfoundland Insectarium seems to be in an awkward position as the marquee tourist attraction in Deer Lake, given that insect aficionados are a decidedly niche audience. But everyone loves butterflies, so emphasizing the butterfly pavilion is seemingly the safest bet as far as marketing goes.

Il est facile d'imaginer pourquoi: on dirait que l'Insectarium de Terre-Neuve est dans une position maladroit en tant qu'attraction touristique principale de Deer Lake compte tenu que les amateurs d'insectes sont un public nettement de niche. Mais tout le monde aime les papillons, donc souligner le pavillon de papillons on dirait le pari le plus sûr quant au marketing.
