Deutsch: Darstellung einer Weinlese im Herbstbild (Autumpnus) des Tacuinum Sanitatis, fol. 54 verso (Codex Vindobonensis Series nova 2644, Österreichische Nationalbibliothek). Nach Ibn Botlans Text ist der Herbst gemäßigt kalt im zweiten Grad. Zu bevorzugen sei seine Mitte und am besten wandelt er sich stufenweise (etwa zu kalt und feucht). Er schadet Menschen mit gemäßigter Kompexion und schwächlichen Naturen. Dagegen helfen Bäder. Der Herbst fördert darüber hinaus die Schwermut. Er nützt Personen mit warmer und feuchter Komplexion, Jugendlichen und Kindern in warmen und feuchten Gegenden. Nach anderer Ansicht in gemäßigten Breiten
