Description
Nederlands: Het ten opzichte van de Taludweg ver terug staande kerkgebouw met toren, aangebouwde kosterswoning en vergaderzalen is in 1930-1931 gebouwd in opdracht van de (Vrije) Evangelische Gemeente. De ontwerper was de architect H.D.R. Blok uit Blaricum. In 1937 verrees schuin tegenover de kerk een door de Hilversumse architect C. Trappenburg ontworpen pastorie. In 1954 is de kerk rechtsachter uitgebreid met een verenigingsgebouw, die voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang is. De niet voor bescherming in aanmerking komende toevoeging linksachter dateert van 1990. Het oorspronkelijke volume van het kerk is gebouwd in een voor de bouwtijd karakteristieke Interbellumstijl, waarbij het accent op de hoge kap ligt. De kerk maakt deel uit van het villapark Susannapark, een onderdeel van het noordwestelijke villagebied.
