Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Taman Cerdas Soekarno-Hatta merupakan salah satu taman edukasi sekaligus hiburan di Solo. Sesuai dengan namanya, taman ini merupakan sumber belajar bagi masyarakat, khususnya pelajar. Salah satu materi edukasi di Taman Cerdas adalah peristiwa Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Indonesia pada 1945 berupa patung proklamator kemerdekaan RI Soekarno-Hatta. Patung ini dipasang di bagian depan taman. Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Indonesia dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat, 17 Agustus 1945 tahun Masehi, atau tanggal 17 Agustus 2605 menurut tahun Jepang, yang dibacakan tepat pukul 10.00 WIB oleh Soekarno dengan didampingi oleh Drs. Mohammad Hatta bertempat di halaman rumah Ir. Soekarno, Jalan Pegangsaan Timur 56, Jakarta Pusat. Naskah Proklamasi tersebut diketik oleh Sayuti Melik. Pembacaan teks tersebut diikuti dengan pengibaran bendera merah putih dan menandakan bahwa Indonesia telah merdeka dari penjajahan Jepang.
