Description
Deutsch: Seccomalerei und Altar der Kirche in Tanzenberg, Kärnten, Valentin Oman 1986/87

Von Mai 1986 bis Juni 1987 arbeitete Valentin Oman in der Kirche in Tanzenberg. Er gestaltete die Seitenwände des Altarraums, die beiden Seitenapsiden und das Altarbild. Für die Berarbeitung der Wände wählte er Kaseintemperafarben. In mehreren Schichten wurde die Farbe auf die Wand aufgetragen. Bilder von Menschen entstanden. Diese Bilder wurden mit Gaze überklebt, die nach dem Eintrocknen wieder abgezogen wurde.

Manche Schichten lösten sich beim Abziehen von der Wand, andere blieben an der Wand fest. Durch diese Technik kamen Bilder zum Vorschein, die dem Betrachter den Eindruck alter Fresken vermitteln. Dadurch wirken sie auch nicht aufgemalt. Sie treten vielmehr aus der Wand heraus und bilden eine nie enden wollende Prozession.
