Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Cliffside Burial. Lembo Village, Tana Toraja

The cliffside burials at Lembo are universally considered to be the most elegant and worth visiting, even though these - like all other known tau-taus - are modern, their 19th-century predecessors having been robbed-out earlier. There are no existing tau-taus that date before the 19th century; if there were any, it is likely that the climate of Sulawesi would have destroyed them long ago.
