Description
Nederlands: 650 tegels sieren de ovatonde (een ovale rotonde) bij de provinciale weg in Harlingen. Aanleiding is de vernieuwing van de N31. De weg is verdubbeld, ligt verdiept en is voorzien van een aquaduct. De vormgeving van de ovatonde is anders dan van de andere viaducten. Dit om te benadrukken dat dit dé plek is om Harlingen in te rijden. Zo zijn de randen van dit viaduct in glad wit beton uitgevoerd. Op de binnenzijde van de wanden zijn de tegeltableaus aangebracht met op Harlingen geïnspireerde afbeeldingen
