Temple d'Athéna Nikè, vu de l'aile nord des Propylées.1 - L'angle de vue choisi par l'auteur permet de rendre compte du dispositif amphiprostyle de ce petit temple tout en conférant de la profondeur à l'édifice. Au premier plan, l'escalier d'accès aux Propylées construit par K.Pittakis (1789-1863) en 1850 est visible tandis que le monument de Philopappos apparaît à l'extrémité droite, au sommet de la colline des Muses.
