Summary[edit]
DescriptionTemporary traffic signals at west end of storm-damaged portion of Franklin CR-370 - Florida, Alligator Point, 27 November 2017.jpg |
English: In September 2016, Hurricane Hermine washed out a portion of County Road 370 on Alligator Point in Franklin County, Florida, forcing traffic to be redirected onto local roads. Continuing erosion resulted in a further portion of County Road 370 narrowing to only be safe for one lane of traffic; starting in March 2017 temporary traffic signals were erected to allow only one direction of traffic to proceed at a time. By November 2017 these signals were still in place as environmental permits for the reconstruction of the roadway were sought; this is the signal at the western end of the one-lane segment, on the redirected portion of the highway on Tom Roberts Road. |
