Description
English: Texas State Guard Capt. Rexie Pajarillaga of Houston Medical Brigade administers one of four immunizations that Juan Carlos Martinez, 13, received at Palmview High School in Palmview, Texas, during Operation Lone Star Monday, July 29, 2013. Operation Lone Star is a weeklong, low- to no-cost medical screening service and emergency readiness exercise that is the largest public health humanitarian effort, of it’s kind, in the country. The exercise ran simultaneously at five sites along the South Texas border area from Brownsville, Texas, to Laredo, Texas, July 29 to Aug. 2, 2013. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Army Sgt.
