Passage de la flamme olympique.


« le cœur de la torche », le cadeau remis aux 11 000 porteurs de la flamme à l'issue de leur parcours.

Conçu par Mathieu Lehanneur et réalisé, en France, par l’entreprise ArcelorMittal, le « cœur de la torche » représente l’anneau qui est inséré au milieu de la torche et qui permet d’assembler ses deux parties. « C’est le noyau et l’axe de symétrie de la torche », détaille le Comité d’organisation des Jeux. « Le cœur de la torche saluera la contribution de chacun des porteurs de flamme », déclare Eric Niedziela, président d’ArcelorMittal France.
