Description
Svenska: Betänkandet överlämnades till ecklesiastikministern. Från vänster rektor Karin Holmvall, fil.lic. Karl Lindgren, överdirektör Birger Öhman, statsrådet Persson och professor Ivar Johansson.
Stockholm får intet av de fem husliga seminarier, som skall ersätta landets nuvarande elva. Hushållslärare, lantgårdslärare och textillärare blir nya titlar och lektor kan man hädanefter bli vid ett husligt seminarium. Detta framgår av det betänkande som 1953 års lärarinneutbildningskommitté på fredagen lämnade till ecklesiastikministern. ”Lärarutbildningen för det husliga området” heter betänkandet som är det fjärde på tjugo år. De tre föregångarna har lagts på hyllan men kommittén är optimistisk och hoppas att riksdagen i år skall göra slag i saken så att förslagets förverkligande kan påbörjas hösten 1968. Det är hög tid, eftersom lärarbristen inom det husliga området är katastrofal och lokaltillståndet rent bedrövligt.
