| Description |
English: The Chatri is in Patcham, on a hill overlooking Brighton. Indian soldiers who were being treated at the Royal Pavilion and died, were cremated here. The monument was built some years later. Chatri is Hindi for umbrella, and is a common architectural feature in India. |
