| Description |
English: With the camponile there too for good measure. Fountain in the centre, with ancient cantharus.
The façade is from 1725, designed by Ferdinando Fuga. The loggia is medieval, 12th Century, with spolia columns; the inner pair are pink granite from Aswan in Egypt, the outer pair of pavonazzetto marble from Turkey. The ends of the loggia have a pair of Corinthian pilasters clad in a grey-veined marble, the cladding having been added by Fuga. Above this runs a 12th Century mosaic strip with a vine pattern. The inscription reads FRANCISCVS TITV[LVS] SANCTAE CAECILIAE CAR[DINALIS] DE AQVAVIVA |
