Description
English: The Gholiks script at Batu Sampai and Batu Pahat is an arrangement of writings or characters carved on a stone in Tanjung Sekayam Sanggau regency and in Pahit village, Sebabas village Nanga Mahap district, Sekadau regency West Kalimantan. A researcher of script and history named Tomi has examined the arrangement of these writings, and concluded that they are not Sanskrit and Pallawa writings because they are not similar to Sanskrit and Pallawa writings. Tomi found writings that were similar to the writings carved on Batu Sampai and Batu Pahat namely the Gholiks script on the amulets of the Gholiks people that he got from the traditional chairman sources at Nek Bindang and Pala Pasang.
