Description |
English: The death of the Rev. John Williams, a missionary with the London Missionary Society, and Mr Henry Harris at Erromango in Vanuatu in November 1839. The work shows the men being attacked by several people with clubs, spears and a bow and arrow. At the back of him is a boat with sailors and other men being attacked by another group of men.
