Summary

English: The image shows the mighty Fort in all its glory. Built by the Kakatiya dynasty as part of their western defenses along the lines of the Kondapalli Fort in the 1600s, the once mighty Fort still stands tall and proud in all its glory, providing security to the people that still live within its walls. The ruins still tell many stories of its dignified history. The Fort only fell in 1687, after a year long siege by none other than the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Now we only see its ruins yet the beautiful gardens and the breathtaking view from the top make it a must see sight.
