Summary[edit]

Description Posting a few shots to (belatedly) remember the Great Fire of London, which started on 5 September 1666, 350 years ago. It began in Pudding Lane, in a bakery and soon spread, burning down most of the the old city. Later, Sir Christopher Wren led a restoration of the city and also designed the Monument to the fire, then one of the tallest buildings around and still worth an inexpensive visit for some great views of the City.
