English: Artist Statement

To Ken, every moment is a frame of life. Great Art is a record of Culture, Time, Life and Memories. He put down his camera almost 10 years and focus on his creative career. We all came across a year of sadness in 2019-2020, Ken suddenly wanna do something to the public and can release their emotions, and he think of his photo work took over 10 years with films. Ken started retrieving the low resolution photos to make it alive in different form of art. There are two parts of procedure of his Artwork.

Firstly he invited an old master Craftsman from Beijing to do retouch on old photos, which are not in good resolution. Secondly, Ken search for the help of AI program expert to develop a system of Algorithm to enlarge his visual work in high resolution. More than that, the visual become with paint-like texture accidentally after AI process. Through all the work on the old photos, Ken finally retrieve his passion of art from the past. The Art in his life is the evidence of reality, the record of Time, and the precious memory of love.

It’s fun to try and error many times in this experimental process with the mixture of technology and Art. It is not perfect, but the imperfection made it Art.
