| Description |
This is one of the leaflets we got from The Sherlock Holmes Museum at 221b Baker Street in London. Think they counted as a ticket. It is open every day from 9.30am to 6.30pm. The museum opened in 1990. In the fictional world of Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock and Doctor Watson lived here between 1881 to 1904. Landlady was Mrs Hudson. The museum building was a lodging house from 1860 to 1934 so is authentic for the period. The house was built in 1815 and is Grade II listed. Front and back of the leaflet. |
