English: To see the horse up close please click this link then click 'large'.
When I took photos 29 April this corner of the park seemed especially lush. To me it felt like an apt setting for Ann Carrington's skeleton horse - its wooden 'bones' ageing and changing with the sun and seasons and weather. A planted and tended garden or park is in a real sense a living artwork. With pollarded trees and strimmed hedges a kind of sculpture. It's also like a "painting" where the shapes and colours are melting and changing each season and every second. |
