Description

Page 1 features photo of Roy W. Corbett's wife, Helen and daughter, Mary.

Three photos:

  • A young woman named Dorothy Dial, who had won a scholarship to study voice under Kirk Towns at Cornish School of Music (now Cornish College of the Arts).
  • A photo by James & Merrihew of another young woman, Ruth Havistead, who won a similar scholarship given by pianist Harry Krinke, who apparently considered her promising enough to choose a vocalist over someone focused mainly on piano.
  • A photo by Wayne Albee (McBride Studio) of Ruth Von Valey, who was leaving Cornish to dance in New York. This photo had previously appeared in File:The Town Crier, v.14, no.50, Dec. 13, 1919 - DPLA - b3e081ab5d8cda5882572e98ef821dd8 (page 41).jpg.
