Description
English: The shore temple is an earliest representation of the temple at mahabalipuram belonging to the pallava dynasty 1 ruler narasimhavarman II. It date backs to A.D. 700-728 and as the temple stands on the bedrock near the sea it is also called as the sea shore temple. There are mainly two ways to enter this very fine architecture one which faces the East and the other faces the west called as the Kshatriyasimeshwaram and Rajasmheshwaram respectively.
