Object history
  • Painted for the Main Altar of the St. Paul's Church, Antwerp.
  • Confiscated by the French occupiers in 1794 and transferred to Paris.
  • In 1811 given by Napoleon gave them to a regional museum in France
  • from there transferred to the Sainte Marie Madeleine Church in Aix-en-Provence, France.
