Description
English: In this spectacular experiment aluminium meets ferric oxide and reduces it to iron. The reaction is so exothermic that liquid iron leaves the pot. The iron flows into a container filled with liquid nitrogen. Thanks to their meeting a large amount of water vapour precipitates from the air thus forming a small fog.
Magyar: Ebben a látványos kísérletben alumínium találkozik vas(III)-oxiddal, amelyet vassá redukál. A reakció oly nagy mértékben exoterm, hogy cseppfolyós vas keletkezik és távozik a virágcserépből. A vas egy cseppfolyós nitrogénnel teli edénybe folyik. Kettejük találkozásának köszönhetően nagy mennyiségű vízgőz csapódik ki a levegőből és köd formálódik.
