Summary[edit]

Description
English: Small wooden picket fence and gate with an address number sign in front of the front doorway to the Old Halsey House, at 249 South Main Street in the Village of Southampton, New York. The house was built in the 1680's by Thomas Halsey, Junior, for his father Thomas Halsey, Senior, and is one of the oldest houses on Long Island. Though the house is not listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is restored as a museum.
