Summary[edit]

Description
English: Thompson's Tours 024 (WFX 257S), a Leyland National, on Fountain Roundabout, Fountain Way, Christchurch, Dorset, on route 238. Route 238 was a route between Bournemouth and Salisbury, run using heritage vehicles. It started in August 2009 running on Saturdays, and latterly (from April 2010) ran additionally on Tuesdays and Fridays to coincide with market days. However, the route was withdrawn from 9 July 2010. The bus wears People's Provincial livery from when it was preserved. Due to the closure of Bridge Street, buses were unable to serve the High Street. As a result, route 238 was diverting via the Christchurch by-pass.
